Whiteness Studies: An Attack on White Identity
There is an ongoing assault being waged on White Identity in the halls of American universities. This Anti-White deconstruction of our identity, and only our identity, has cloaked itself in the guise of “academic diversity” and attempts to claim a moral high ground by framing this attack as “dismantling White supremacy”; something which is assumed to be inherently good. Not only is this sham of academia a morally flawed, virulent attack on people of European descent, it is funded by the tax dollars of the people these very same courses attack.
On the surface, “Whiteness studies” courses may seem to be the honest dialogue on race the left continuously claims it wants, however, closer examination reveals it to be yet another weapon deployed by the anti-White stronghold of western academia. The very term “Whiteness” is itself a linguistic attack designed to deny the heritage and culture of people of European descent. By framing White identity as nothing more than a “social construct” it dehumanizes Whites and delegitimizes our interests and struggles as a people. If those of European descent are not defined as a people with distinct heritage, customs, and identity, but rather as a meaningless social label, they become much more vulnerable to attack.
The university courses under the umbrella of “Whiteness studies” further this deconstruction of White identity through a manipulation of information presented and moral castigation of Whites. European history is examined through a cultural Marxist lens, where Whites are the universal oppressor, and non-whites are the consummate victim to their predations and exploitation. Only portions of European history which serve this narrative are presented, and done so in a deliberately hostile manner so as to demonize all Whites. European expansion and colonization are decried as a unique evil perpetrated only by the White man; the positive impact of European innovations in science, literature, and the arts are ignored and attention is only given to supposed crimes of European civilization while refusing to acknowledge that expansion and assertion of racial interests is the natural course for all civilizations of all races. This dishonest representation of European history, of White culture, is designed to demoralize and shame Whites the world over. The vilification of Whites as the universal oppressor provides an ideological foundation to justify the dispossession of Whites in their own homelands, to promote resentment and even provide an excuse for non-white violence against Whites.
The rhetoric surrounding “Whiteness studies” courses attempts to frame them as an honest intellectual discussion, as a much needed “conversation” (in which Whites are expected to remain silent while being shamed and berated for the actions of their ancestors) on race. These claims are meant to obfuscate the truth that these classes are a deliberate attack on European peoples. A particularly egregious manifestation of this anti-White indoctrination has surfaced at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in a course titled “The Problem with Whiteness.” Taught by Professor Damon Sajnani, the course description reads: “Critical Whiteness Studies aims to understand how whiteness is socially constructed and experienced in order to help dismantle white supremacy.” Aly Niehans, Freshman international relations major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison attempts to defend this course from criticism by the state legislators in an article written for The Badger Herald. She seeks to argue that the course is an essential element to “dismantling White supremacy” and that any criticism of such a class amounts to governmental overreach and intrusion into what she believes to be an intellectually open and diverse in thought academic institution. She claims that resistance against this assault on White identity is an attempt by Republican legislators to push a conservative agenda in an otherwise neutral University. Her assertion could not be further from the truth. Western academia is a leftist bastion of indoctrination and hatred against European descended peoples, controlled by an elite intelligentsia who desires the dispossession and replacement of those people in their own homelands. Claiming “White supremacy” must be dismantled in White nations is a smear tactic, designed to redefine White rule in White lands as a grave, morally unacceptable, injustice. This undermining of majority rule only occurs in White nations. There is no movement, intellectual or otherwise, to undermine the authority of Africans over the African continent, nor Asiatic peoples in Asia. Whites are uniquely targeted in this manner in a deliberate attempt to delegitimize the notion of White countries for White people.
Despite the overwhelming flood of anti-White racism pervading Western academia, hope shines through from Republican elected officials in several states. In a direct response to “The Problem with Whiteness”, Rep. Dave Murphy, R-Greenville proclaims “UW must discontinue this class…If UW stands with this professor, I don’t know how the university can expect the taxpayers to stand with UW.” Rep. Murphy has realized the true nature of this course and others like it, and has voiced his condemnation in order to protect his constituents from being forced to fund the destruction of their own identity. A statement from Mike Mikalsen, Spokesman for Sen. Steve Nass, R-Whitewater, rings true with the barb, “They’re preaching, not teaching [at UW]” calling out the leftist indoctrination program that is University of Wisconsin-Madison. Opposition to “Whiteness studies” fortunately is not limited to this response in Wisconsin. In Arizona, republican lawmakers are moving to ban ethnic studies from all public colleges and universities in the state. This will be an expansion of the ban on classes which “promote division, resentment, or social justice toward a race, gender, religion, political affiliation, social class or other class” currently in place for all charter and public primary and secondary schools. If passed, colleges and universities who fail to comply with this legislation could lose up to ten percent of their funding from the state.
This resistance is certainly encouraging, but it alone is not enough to counter the anti-White attitudes that pervade western academia. This struggle to preserve our identity and heritage will not be easy, but it is necessary. Under assault from all angles, European peoples the world over must awaken to the harsh reality that we are besieged, we are targeted for replacement and every instance of Anti-White crime, culture, and public influence is meant to weaken our people and accelerate our demise. These attacks on our folk will be documented and none shall be allowed to claim ignorance to our struggle.
